Discovering this hidden gem has been a game-changer for our work lunches! Not only is the food incredibly delicious, but it's also super affordable. The fact that they offer complimentary tea is the cherry on top. In today's economy, finding a spot like this is a real treasure. It's safe to say this has become our go-to spot for weekday work lunches. Highly recommend!

The daily lunch specials here are amazing. We came here on a Friday where the lunch specials were chicken strips, flautas, or fish for $5.99. I went with the chicken strips and it came with three HUGE strips, French fries, and a large tea. The chicken was hot And fried nicely- it didn't have an overly oily flavor and tasted fresh. The gravy was a little bland so I added some pepper and it kicked it up a notch. You seat yourself for lunch- we were here before 1130 and most of the tables were already filled up. This place is super busy! And with the lunch specials they offer I can see why. We waited a good bit to have our drink order taken, but they were obviously busy and not intentionally being neglectful so it wasn't an issue. The food came out quickly. I definitely recommend coming for lunch during the week!

This little neighborhood (Mexican) restaurant was the biggest little surprise of the month. I went in for lunch on a recommendation to try the chicken fried steak and WOW! I never would have thought this "bigger inside than it looks outside" place would even offer a CFS... then you realize it is priced at under $10 and comes with two sides! Great value for the meal. The Chicken Fried Steak was extremely tender and able to be cut with a fork. There was a good breading-to-steak ratio, and it was a good size too. I ordered the CFS with mashed potatoes and green beans. The mashed potatoes were very good and worth mentioning. The service was very friendly and the dining room was almost completely full. This would explain the lack of parking requiring having to park down the street. I don't find myself in this neighborhood often, but next time I do, I'll definitely think about stopping in again.
